Job Description
A US owned company who is an industry leader in GM Automotive Body in White Welding Robotic Work Cells is currently seeking Mechanical Designers for long term first shift opportunities.
These are Direct Hire Mechanical Designer Opportunities in Troy, MI. Very Flexible Schedule with Overtime paid at 1.5 Premium and Double time rates. Competitive Mechanical Designer rates are based on experience and education, however all well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Qualifications
- 3+ years of Body in White Mechanical Designer experience is required.
- Understanding of GM manufacturing standards is a benefit but not a requirement.
- Mechanical Designer experience in the areas of automotive body welding and automotive
assembly is preferred. - Experience with using NX software.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (no student visas considered).
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
- An Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related subject is a
benefit, but not essential.
